Common questions
Straight answers, before you commit.
Two divisions — agro commodities (grains, oilseeds, pulses, fibre crops and fresh produce) and spices, whole and ground. The catalogue is what we handle routinely. For anything outside it we will tell you plainly whether we can source it to your specification and at what price, instead of accepting the order and working it out afterwards.
It depends on the line. Some spices move from 1–5 MT; bulk commodities start at a full 20’ container. The minimum is stated on every product page and repeated on the offer, so you are never quoted against a quantity we cannot actually ship.
Send the grade, quantity, destination port and shipment month. That is enough for a firm offer, which comes back within one working day with its validity period. If we cannot serve the requirement you will get a straight answer rather than a holding reply.
About three weeks on a typical lot: the offer on day one, samples couriered and approved by day three, procurement, cleaning and grading through day twelve, then stuffing, fumigation where required and shipment by day twenty. Crop season and port congestion move this, and we give you the realistic date before you open the L/C — not after.
Yes, and we encourage it on a first shipment. SGS, Intertek, Bureau Veritas and Cotecna all operate at our load ports. Inspection is arranged at the buyer’s cost unless the contract states otherwise, and our team coordinates access to the lot and the stuffing.
Pre-shipment samples of 100–500 g are couriered free of charge against a serious enquiry; courier cost is at the buyer’s account. For larger evaluation quantities we quote at cost and credit it against a subsequent order.
Irrevocable L/C at sight through a first-class bank is standard. We also work on documents against payment (D/P) and advance T/T, and on partial-advance terms with established buyers. Open account is not offered on a first shipment.
FOB from Mundra, Kandla, Pipavav or Nhava Sheva; CFR and CIF to most destination ports; and DAP where we have a reliable delivery partner. The Incoterm is stated on every offer along with its validity period.
The sealed counter-sample is tested by a mutually agreed independent laboratory. If the result confirms the claim, it is settled — by credit, replacement or negotiated allowance. We do not argue against our own retained sample.
Yes. Retail packs from 200 g upward are produced against your artwork, with barcodes, nutrition panels and destination-market labelling handled at our end. Minimum quantities depend on the pack format.
